Collection: Two Truths

The images in this collection ask to be looked at again and again. Made entirely in camera by exposing a single frame of film twice, each composition is created with layers of light where one moment is held inside another. The film medium itself creates a dreamy, memory like experience with grain and the best kind of imperfection. Forms overlap, scenes echo, and familiar elements become soft and enchanting in a departure from the sharpness and precision of modern digital photography. The viewer unfolds what they see gradually through the art of paying attention and the evergreen knowing that two things can be true at the same time.
