San Clemente and Dana Point Custom Wall Art Collection: The Darnold Residence
A sweet call came in from Shannon Kate Designs that felt like the universe tapping my shoulder: would I create a custom wall art collection for the Darnold home? I was told San Clemente and Dana Point are the places he loves, so I set out to capture our hometowns in a meaningful way. Eight pieces later, his walls tell a story of home.
For this space, we went big at nearly 90 inches wide. In this light and breezy room, we chose a non reflective canvas with a natural wood frame to keep glare down, so the San Clemente Pier could really shine like the beauty she is.
On the left, we chose something meaningful to create a uniques space for interviews. On the right, the San Clemente moon rises through the palms perfectly set above a cozy place to rest.Â
This hallway is not just a hallway. It holds a collection of meaningful places throughout Dana Point. And the other, the iconic T-Street, a nostalgic San Clemente spot chosen to bring another favorite place home.
Finally, the gentle waves of Doheny create the vibe for this retreat.Â
